📖 Club History
SSC Napoli, founded in 1926, are the pride of southern Italy. Diego Maradona's arrival in 1984 transformed the club — he almost single-handedly delivered two Serie A titles and a UEFA Cup, making him a god-like figure in the city. Their stadium was renamed in his honour after his death in 2020. In 2022/23, under Luciano Spalletti, Napoli won their third Serie A title in stunning fashion.
