📖 Club History
Wolverhampton Wanderers, founded in 1877, were one of England's great clubs in the 1950s under Stan Cullis, winning three First Division titles. Molineux is one of England's oldest professional grounds. After decades of decline including two relegations to the fourth tier, Fosun International's 2016 takeover and the appointment of Nuno Espírito Santo sparked a revival, culminating in promotion to the Premier League in 2018 and two consecutive seventh-place finishes.
