West Ham United, founded in 1895, is known as the "Academy of Football" for producing England World Cup winners Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters. The club is deeply rooted in East London working-class culture. After 112 years at Upton Park, the club moved to the London Stadium in 2016. Their greatest modern achievement came in 2023 under David Moyes, winning the UEFA Conference League โ their first European trophy in 58 years.
