📖 Club History

Werder Bremen, founded in 1899, are one of Germany's traditional clubs. Their greatest era came in the 1980s and early 2000s under Otto Rehhagel and Thomas Schaaf respectively. They won the Bundesliga four times and the Cup Winners' Cup in 1992. After a dramatic relegation in 2021, they bounced back in 2022 under Ole Werner.
